Information on the processing of personal data of applicants for employment

Data Administrator:

The administrator of the personal data you provide in your resume will be BMS sp. z o.o., headquartered in Warsaw, 10b Słowiańska Street, 01-695 Warsaw, hereinafter “BMS”.

If you wish to withdraw the consents given to us or object to the processing of your data, simply write a message to this address.

Data processing purposes and legal grounds:

Your personal data provided in your resume will be processed for the following purposes:

  • conducting recruitment and possible subsequent employment – on the basis of the provisions of labor law, and to a broader extent on the basis of your consent given by sending your CV (Article 6(1)(a), (b) and (c) RODO);
  • future recruitment processes, if you have given your consent – on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) RODO);
  • BMS’s legitimate interests, i.e. the need to safeguard against possible claims related to recruitment (Article 6(1)(f) RODO).

Data sharing:

Once you are hired, your data may be shared with companies providing health benefits, health and safety training provider, insurance companies, and other entities authorized by law (e.g., Tax Office, Health Insurance Company).

Data retention period:

We will process your data for the duration of the recruitment in question and, in the case of employment, for as long as you are employed by us and as long as required by law, as well as until the statute of limitations for any claims related to recruitment and employment.

If you have consented to participate in future recruitments, we will process your data until you withdraw that consent.

Your rights:

At any time you have the right to access, rectify, delete or reduce the extent to which we process your data. At any time you can request the transfer of your data (which we process electronically) to another entity – your new employer.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority (President of the Office for Personal Data Protection) as to the processing of your personal data.

Voluntariness of data:

Providing your personal data is necessary for participation in recruitment (and subsequent employment) to the extent specified by law (Article 221 of the Labor Code). If you include a broader range of data in your resume, you do so voluntarily, thereby consenting to its use by BMS.

Providing data for future recruitment purposes is completely voluntary.
